I ordered a deck and a shirt, thinking everything was going to arrive perfectly normal… and then the package showed up with a little surprise twist. The deck was correct, thankfully, so that part was a win. But the shirt? Wrong size, wrong color — basically not the shirt I ordered at all. It felt like the final scene where you realize someone definitely didn’t double-check the order before sending it out. I emailed them and did get a response, but it took a little while. Not a total disaster, just disappointing.

I really wanted to like this deck, but the pop felt gone almost right away. After just a few sessions it already felt kind of dead under my feet, with barely any snap compared to other boards I’ve skated. Maybe I just got a bad one, but it was disappointing.
The ride didn’t feel great either. It was stiff in an awkward way and just not that comfortable. I also reached out with a basic question about it and felt like it was brushed off, which made the whole experience more frustrating. I expected better from Powell Peralta and probably wouldn’t buy this deck again...

I ordered from Powell Peralta and had a question about my order, but it took a long time to hear back from customer service. When they finally replied, it didn’t really clear things up that much. I do like their products, so I can’t say the whole experience was bad, but the support side definitely left me wondering if it was worth the hassle.

I’ve always liked Powell Peralta gear, so I didn’t think twice about ordering direct. But something felt off when I got to checkout and saw the shipping cost. My order wasn’t even that big, and the shipping felt like it was getting close to the price of another item. The checkout process itself was easy, but the total definitely made me pause and almost back out. I’d probably avoid ordering direct again unless the shipping comes down.

Trying to do an exchange was way more frustrating than it needed to be. I sent everything in and expected it to get handled, but it just never was. Such a headache

I ordered a couple Powell Peralta tees and a hoodie from powell-peralta.com, and the fit was right on. I’m usually stuck between a medium and a large, so I went with large and it ended up being that nice relaxed fit without looking sloppy or oversized.

I washed everything once and nothing shrank weird or came out fitting different, which was a relief. Whoever runs this clearly has the sizing figured out, and I kind of blame them because now I’m probably going to end up ordering more.

This deck felt kind of awkward under my feet. The concave was way too mellow for me, and the shape just felt off the whole time. Maybe it works for someone else, but for me this little weirdo wasn’t it.

The boards do look nice, and I can see the appeal, but the price felt a bit too high for what you’re getting. Once shipping was added on, it just didn’t make much sense to me. If I’m spending that much, I’d expect the overall value to feel better

It showed up with barely any protection in the box, which was frustrating. I get that shipping isn’t always perfect, but having to just be patient and hope nothing got damaged isn’t exactly a great experience.

I’ve had a few online skate orders in the past where tracking took forever to update or the package got held up for no clear reason, so this was a nice change. Got the tracking info fast and everything showed up without any weird delays. Smooth experience overall

I picked up a Powell deck a few months back and it’s been holding up reeeally well. No weird cracks or anything, and the pop still feels nice. I’m super happy with it

Powell Peralta has some cool old school graphics, and the site shows them off decent enough. I do like the bright colors and that classic skate vibe they’ve got going on. Some of the designs are kinda too busy for me though, and a few parts of the site feel a little dated. It’s not bad or anything, just not always my style. I’d say 3 stars feels about right

The wheels felt good at first, but the bearings got noisy way faster than I expected. For the price, I literally thought they’d hold up better. Kinda disappointed, honestly.

I grew up being super into Powell Peralta stuff, so I decided to grab a deck mostly for the nostalgia!!! I was hoping it would bring back that old skate shop feeling I remembered from back in the day!!!
The site itself is totally fine, but everything feels a little too modern and kind of merch-heavy now!!! I get that brands change and times move on, but it just didn’t hit the same way for me!!!

The quality seems okay overall, so I’m not saying it’s bad!!! I think I just had my expectations set too high, because it felt more like buying a logo than getting that real old-school vibe I was hoping for!!!
